The location was very convenient. It was a short walk to local attractions and public transport. Free parking was a great perk, and I easily found a space. I also appreciated the room upgrade I received (I thought it was an awesome surprise!).
The bathroom fixtures showed some signs of age, like rust on the bin, which could definitely use an update.

the staff was very helpful and polite , which i found cheerful. the room was in a very good state. i thought they could have included a little more milk for teas and coffees , but i tend to use a lot.
the mattress springs really hurt my back , that's true. the hotel is tired and needs refurbishment. the kettle is loud , i could hear it when people next door were boiling theirs.

the room was super clean and warm. i needed additional pillows , and they arrived within ten minutes after i asked. the bed was comfy , and i had the best night's sleep i've had in a while. i thought the price was good , and it was a short walk to both the town center and the seafront.
the shower flow was a little weak , so it was difficult to wash properly.

the bathroom wasn't clean , and the saucers for tea cups were quite filthy. i mentioned the broken plug socket by the bed to a staff member , but they already knew and didn't seem concerned. after that , i tried calling reception several times during service hours , but no one ever answered. it was annoying to encounter such issues and not receive any support.
